Attached is a handout that provides some information and links to resources pertaining to the Germanna Colony in Virginia, and to Germans and German settlements in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  It doesn't include the more obvious sources such as Ancestry, Familysearch, USGENWEB, the Library of Virginia, DAR, Cyndi's List, local libraries, etc., but don't forget to check those as well.
